Synopsis
By making cars that are propelled by a fan, students in this lesson learn about motion, force, and circuits. This lesson also leverages engineering design skills for students to iteratively think about how some designs work ‘better’ than others.
Making spaces have become rich contexts for students to understand engineering design skills and content. Through this lesson, students will learn how to design and implement their ideas within a competitive goal. By the end of the lesson, students will have a better understanding about circuits, different forms of energy, and force’s impact on motion.
