Technology offers us an opportunity forward. Currently, many students have laptops and cellular phones that have amazing capabilities that have are still underutilized in science classrooms. These devices offer important possibilities. First, these devices can take you to places that you cannot experience, like space and into cells. Smartphones can become VR devices, simulators, and Augmented Reality devices. As technology is being developed for science teaching, we are hoping to maximize that capability. Second, these devices can be used to offer diverse representations of science and culture. While it may be difficult to hire diverse science teachers, we can use the technology to offer diverse representations of phenomenon.
We need your help. We are hoping to develop improved learning resources for science teaching. We are hoping to get your feedback to improving science technology. This would entail your giving us feedback on how to improve the software and to teach 2 lessons in your classrooms. You will be paid $1000 for your participation.
